About Bill - N4ATS

I was first licensed in 1975 (age 14) with a call sign of WB3GOZ. I purchased a Kenwood TS-520 transceiver that I bought brand new from money I saved from shoveling snow around the neighborhood in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

There was a gap between my current call sign of N4ATS and WB3GOZ because of the 16 year old (age) "fast car" era (I was into 1967 Camaros).

In 1984 I began a career with the Lockheed-Martin Co. as an RF Engineer). I have retired as a Principle Electrical Engineer from Lockheed after 41 years. I designed Flight Termination Systems (FTS) and I was on the General Technical Staff (GTS). I was also the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the FTS field as well as a Lockheed Martin Associate Fellow. I am now working full time with my hobbies, repairing radios, amplifiers and working with my wife making Gift Baskets www.grassasgifts.com
